On August 7th, 2023, our original Happy Heart-Happy Home Farm and Rescue location in Glen Mills, PA was devastated by a tornado. Structures were crushed by fallen trees, and utilities went offline, including our well, which collapsed. By some incredible miracle, no lives were lost in the storm. But the devastation meant we had to completely rebuild HHHH. To say that first winter was a challenge would be an understatement, but when one door shuts, a new window opens. On June 5th, we purchased our forever happy home on almost 50 acres! The work has been nonstop since that August as our team has been building fences and barns, trenching water lines, and moving our kids into their new home. These unplanned expenses put our team under incredible pressure, but thanks to your support, we’ve been able to turn this empty farm land into a true sanctuary. We still need your help to make this farm a home. Work like installing lights, repurchasing security cameras, and replacing supplies is ongoing.
